Schedule

Typical hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., PRN as scheduled.

What You'll Do

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize respiratory care equipment.
• Assist with inventory management and distribution of respiratory supplies and medical gases.
• Track and maintain respiratory equipment.
• Deliver oxygen and replace compressed gas cylinders as needed.
• Support Respiratory Therapists during CPR and other patient care procedures.
• Maintain proficiency with hospital computer systems and departmental processes.
• Provide excellent service to patients, families, visitors, and staff.

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Must be able to lift equipment and or supplies weighing up to 30 pounds and push/handle equipment weighing up to 100 pounds. 

Preferred:

• Previous healthcare, patient care, customer service, or equipment-related experience.
• Interest in exploring a healthcare career, particularly respiratory therapy.

  Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
   

• Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
• Act 33 with renewal
• Act 34 with renewal
• Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
