Resort Housekeeping Supervisor ($17 and up)

Overview

The Resort Housekeeping Supervisor supports the Director and Assistant Director of Housekeeping in managing, training, and coaching housekeeping associates, including Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Public Area Attendants. This role helps ensure the resort consistently meets its quality standards. Based on business needs, the position may also perform routine housekeeping duties as assigned by resort management.

Responsibilities

Resort Housekeeping Supervisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support the supervision, training, and coaching of housekeeping associates to ensure duties are understood and completed efficiently
• Conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms, common areas, and storerooms to verify cleanliness and quality standards
• Communicate guest room status updates to the appropriate team members
• Record inspection results, address deficiencies, and submit maintenance work orders as needed
• Identify and promptly report damages or maintenance concerns to management
• Maintain proper inventory and organization of linens, supplies, equipment, and housekeeping closets
• Prepare daily room or section assignments for Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Public Area Attendants as needed
• Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties based on business volume and resort needs
• Clean guest rooms and condominiums as required, including dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, removing trash, and cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Coordinate with departments such as Maintenance and Front Desk to support efficient operations and guest satisfaction
• Respond to guest concerns promptly and professionally, taking appropriate steps to resolve issues
• Greet guests and provide friendly, courteous service
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
