Resort Appearance Supervisor

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking a highly personable, detail-oriented leader to assist the housekeeping department by overseeing and aiding the Resort Appearance Attendants in meeting all cleanliness and guest service requirements. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must be able to work inside and outside of the resort of all lodges on property
• Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively in English
• Flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays; timely and reliable attendance is essential even in inclement weather
• Previous housekeeping and supervisory experience a plus!
• Desire to be an integral part of a growing housekeeping team
• Attention to detail, cleanliness and dedication to creating a welcoming space for guests will be key to your success in this role. Get ready to make a difference every day!
• Walking and standing throughout entire shift doing assigned tasks, and frequently squatting, kneeling, bending, pushing and pulling
• Occasionally lifting or carrying more than 50 lbs, and frequently reaching above shoulder level
• Ability to interact with the public and co-workers in a friendly, professional manner
• Ability to work both independently and within a team, often with little supervision
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
• Customer service-oriented attitude and demeanor
• Work area noise level can vary based on assigned shift

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service and information to the guests
• Assist the attendants in cleaning assigned public areas throughout the resort, including food and beverage guest locations
• Assist in emptying trash in all public areas and clean public area restrooms
• Assist in vacuuming carpets where needed
• Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
• Report necessary maintenance items
• Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and supplies as directed
• Practice safe working techniques and is knowledgeable of all safety and emergency procedures
