Residential DOT Driver

Job DetailsJob Location: UDP Madisonville - Madisonville, KY 42431The Residential DOT Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating company collection vehicles while servicing residential customers. The driver will follow assigned routes, collect and transport materials, operate vehicle and collection equipment, and ensure assigned routes are completed safely and efficiently.

The driver is responsible for conducting required vehicle inspections, complying with DOT regulations and company safety procedures, maintaining required documentation, and providing professional and courteous service to customers. The position requires dependable attendance, safe driving practices, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing an assigned route.

Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
Acceptable driving record.
Current DOT medical certification as required.
Previous commercial driving, waste collection, or similar experience preferred.
Ability to safely operate a commercial collection vehicle and related equipment.
Ability to perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Knowledge of safe driving practices and applicable DOT regulations.
Ability to follow assigned residential routes, schedules, and instructions.
Ability to safely navigate residential streets and customer locations.
Ability to complete required logs, paperwork, and electronic documentation.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
