Oakview, MRC’s affordable housing community in La Porte, Texas, is looking for a compassionate and people-focused Resident Coordinator to join our team.

What You’ll Do

As our Resident Coordinator, you’ll be a connector, resource, and familiar face for the residents who call Oakview home. You’ll help residents access services and resources, maintain their independence, and stay connected to the people and programs around them.

You’ll:

Connect residents and their families with community services and resources that support independent living.
Build meaningful relationships with residents and serve as a trusted resource when they need assistance or guidance.
Help residents organize documentation needed for recertifications and renewals.
Maintain records related to resident assistance, resources, activities, and events.
Help residents build support networks with neighbors, family members, volunteers, friends, and community partners.
Coordinate and promote wellness, educational, and social activities.
Partner with Property Management to help residents understand lease requirements and tenancy responsibilities.
Help create a welcoming, supportive community where residents feel connected, valued, and at home.

We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, organized, approachable, and genuinely enjoys helping others.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

Have a heart for serving older adults.
Provide exceptional customer service and enjoy connecting with people.
Communicate well with residents, families, community partners, and team members.
Are organized and comfortable balancing resident needs with administrative responsibilities.
Have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Have experience working with older adults through employment, volunteering, caregiving, community service, or personal experience a plus, but not required.
