Research Assistant

The Monell Chemical Senses Center is a world-renowned nonprofit research institute and global leader dedicated to advancing knowledge about the senses of taste, smell, and related senses, and translating its discoveries into real-world advances in policy, practice, and behavior. Monell is located in the heart of the vibrant educational and life sciences hub of Philadelphia. 

Part-time Research Assistant, 15-20 hours/week.

Qualifications:

• Data management and organization skills
• Statistical analysis methods
• Meticulous record-keeping and attention to detail
• Subject testing and recruitment
• The ability to set priorities and manage several large ongoing projects is essential.

Lab maintenance and management 

 Ordering and upkeep of supplies

• Maintenance of general laboratory safety
• Management of lab records
• Manage and maintain animal colony

Depending on experience and interest, opportunities may be available to work under the guidance of the PI or a postdoctoral researcher on projects leading to co-authored publications.
