Rental Supervisor

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking a punctual, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited for an opportunity to create guests for life. The Rentals Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and guest-focused rental experience. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the rental shop, supervising staff, maintaining inventory and equipment in a timely manner, and ensuring all guests are fitted properly and safely with ski and snowboard gear.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous experience in ski or snowboard rental operations required (supervisory experience preferred)
• Knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment, sizing, and fitting standards
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using point-of-sale and rental management systems
• Strong organizational and time-management skills

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Supervising day-to-day operations of the rental department, including opening and closing procedures
• Providing leadership and support to rental technicians and front-line staff; assisting with hiring, training, and scheduling
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained, cleaned, and stored properly
• Monitoring and maintaining rental inventory, reporting shortages or equipment issues to the Rentals Manager
• Ensuring accurate equipment fitting and adherence to safety standards
• Delivering excellent guest service; resolving guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
• Coordinating with other resort departments to ensure smooth guest flow and communication
• Monitoring and enforcing safety, cleanliness, and organization in the rental area
• Using rental software systems to manage guest transactions, equipment tracking, and reporting
