We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Rental Car Agent to join our team.

About the Role

As a Rental Car Agent, you will be responsible for managing the dealership's rental and loaner vehicle program across Steven Automotive Group. You will assist customers by coordinating vehicle reservations, completing rental agreements, inspecting vehicles before and after use, and ensuring a seamless rental experience from start to finish.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with customers, is highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily rental and loaner vehicle reservations.
Greet customers and explain rental policies, procedures, and program guidelines.
Complete rental agreements and verify customer information.
Inspect rental and loaner vehicles before and after each use for cleanliness and damage.
Maintain accurate rental records, contracts, and vehicle documentation.
Monitor fleet availability and coordinate vehicle assignments.
Work closely with Service Advisors and Service Departments to provide transportation solutions for customers.
Schedule routine maintenance, fueling, and detailing for the rental fleet.
Process payments, billing, and rental documentation accurately.
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the rental experience.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional rental office and fleet.

Compensation

QualificationsQualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous customer service, hospitality, rental, administrative, or automotive experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn dealership software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
