RENTAL ASSOCIATE/ CASHIER

Description

Watch the counter for customers who may need assistance and provide needed advice or information

Handle customer complaints, unless shopper demands to see the manager

Be Courteous and Respectful

Make recommendations to management when new lines should be added, old lines dropped, basic stock quantities adjusted, etc. Advise manager of shortages, damages, backorders, etc., using appropriate forms

Offer suggestions on steps we can take to reduce such losses

Accurately complete paperwork for machines being dropped off for maintenance

Assemble mowers, chainsaws and other power equipment as requested

Process financing paperwork for Ferris mowers

Complete tasks assigned by Supervisor and members of Management

Requirements

1. Must be able to Stand/Walk for prolonged periods of time.
2. Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
3. Must be at least 18 years of age.
4. Must have an understanding of basic math, and have the ability to count, add and subtract efficiently.
5. Must have and understanding and the ability to operate a personal computer.
6. Must be able to operate all required equipment specific to assigned department
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills
