Kentro is hiring for a Remote Program Engagement Lead (VA ESOM) to support the VA ESOM contract.  This role is responsible for designing, managing, and continuously improving a comprehensive employee engagement strategy across a portfolio of projects. This role blends people leadership, data-driven insights, and program management to enhance workforce experience, performance, and organizational effectiveness. The Lead will manage a team of analysts across a portfolio of contracts and partner with program leadership and the Kentro Human Resources Team to align engagement initiatives with business outcome. 

Location: Remote - This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.

Compensation Range: The pay range for this position is $130-$145K annually. Kentro determines compensation by evaluating current government contracting and commercial market conditions, as well as the role’s specific requirements. Final salary placement within this range will be based on the candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education, certifications, location, and security clearance level, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a portfolio-wide engagement and team member experience strategy aligned with ESOM goals, Kentro policies, and stakeholder requirements.
• Build and scale ESOM’s engagement function by establishing governance, processes, tools, and KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops, retrospectives, and sustainable engagement solutions.
• Design initiatives that strengthen morale, collaboration, and overall employee experience; define success metrics, feedback loops, and continuous improvement actions.
• Partner with leaders to embed engagement into delivery practices; identify and mitigate workforce risk, including burnout, attrition, disengagement, and morale concerns.
• Translate corporate engagement survey results into actionable insights, priorities, and recommendations; identify trends, root causes, and key engagement drivers.
• Provide corporate teams with survey requirements related to content, demographic needs, branching, and analysis levels.
• Conduct additional analysis or investigation into emerging themes when necessary.
• Integrate engagement metrics into program reporting and governance; establish benchmarks, track KPIs, and deliver dashboard and executive briefings.
• Design and manage recognition programs (kudos, awards, etc.) that foster accountability and continuous feedback.
• Track kudos and implement recognition processes compliant with Kentro practices.
• Support the Kentro performance management and talent development processes by partnering with the Human Resources team on performance improvement and talent development.
• Identify skills gaps and training needs across the portfolio; design and coordinate program-specific learning pathways.
• Request learning pathways as needed from corporate L&D when needed and provide subject matter expertise to support course development.
• Coordinate the completion of mandatory training and partner with HR/L&D to measure training effectiveness.
• Lead, mentor, and develop analysts by setting clear expectations, growth pathways, and cultivating a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
• Support the development and operational activities of additional PMO functions and the PMO Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in employee engagement, PMO operations, HR strategy, or program management.
• Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional initiatives in a multi-team and multi-contract environment.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into insights for engagement initiatives and executive-level recommendations.
• Experience building or maturing an employee engagement function from the ground up.
• Experience in organizational change management and culture transformation initiatives.
• Experience supporting a large program or portfolio.
• Experience in a government or consulting environment.

• Willing and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
