Remote LCSW Supervisor (California License Required)

Position: LCSW Supervisor (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) 

Location: Fully Remote (U.S. Only) | Active California LCSW License Required

Compensation: Starting at $115,000/year 

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday PST  | 40 hours/week

Iris Telehealth is seeking an experienced California-licensed LCSW Supervisor to join a 100% remote outpatient Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) based in California. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to split your time between direct clinical care and clinical supervision, supporting both patients and fellow behavioral health clinicians within an integrated healthcare environment.

In this role, approximately 50% of your time will be dedicated to clinical care and 50% to supervision responsibilities. You’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary care team while receiving the administrative and operational support you need to focus on what matters most—supporting clinicians and delivering exceptional patient care.

About the Role: 

• Setting: 100% Remote | Outpatient FQHC based in California
• Role Structure: Approximately 50% direct clinical care and 50% clinical supervision
• Schedule: 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday PST | The clinic is open until 7:00 PM on Thursdays, so later availability on Thursdays is preferred.
• Patient Population: Patients ages 6+
• Diagnoses: General mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, PTSD, adjustment disorders, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, and insomnia
• Appointment Structure: 90 minutes for initial visits and 30–40 minutes for follow-up visits, based on clinician discretion and patient age/acuity
• Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision and guidance to behavioral health clinicians while supporting high-quality, evidence-based care
• Integrated Care: Collaborate closely with other providers as part of an integrated healthcare system to support comprehensive patient care
• EMR: OCHIN Epic

Required Clinical & Supervisory Skills:

• Experience providing behavioral health services across a range of general mental health diagnoses
• Experience and willingness to provide clinical care to patients ages 6+
• Ability to provide effective clinical supervision, coaching, and professional guidance to behavioral health clinicians
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within an integrated, multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Ability to assess patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based behavioral health interventions
• Ability to complete appropriate risk assessments, safety planning, and clinical documentation
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to adapt treatment approaches based on patient age, presentation, and acuity
• Previous clinical supervision experience strongly preferred

Qualifications:  

• Active LCSW license in the state of California is required
• Completion of the California BBS Supervisor Training Course is required
• Previous clinical supervision experience preferred
• Experience and willingness to provide both clinical supervision and direct patient care
• Full-time availability for 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
• Experience and willingness to treat patients ages 6+
• Experience treating a broad range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, adjustment disorders, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, and related diagnoses
• Experience working collaboratively within an integrated healthcare environment preferred
• Must reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.
