What You'll Do

1. Provide mental health therapy services to a wide variety of client systems in an outpatient setting, diagnosing and treating mental health disorders in a telehealth format.

2. Deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy services to individuals, families, and groups in a telehealth format.

3. Collaborate with other treatment team members, natural supports, and external providers to ensure a wrap-around approach is provided for continuity of client care.

4. Create and maintain person-centered treatment plans based on clients’ unique needs.

5. Monitor client progress through ongoing assessment and timely documentation according to current agency standards.

6. Demonstrate sensitivity to all cultural and ethnic differences.

7. Complete agency trainings up to and including certification in evidenced based treatment models.

8. Provide psycho-educational services to the community as assigned by Supervisor or Director.

9. Maintain advanced knowledge and skills related to field of work through continuing education per state licensure requirements.

10. Provide client care for a minimum of three hours outside the hours of 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. 

11. Perform all other reasonably related duties assigned by immediate supervisor or other management personnel.

Requirements

Required:

1. Master’s degree in counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work or related field

2. Current, active, unincumbered independent license as an LCPC, LCMFT, LCP, or LSCSW 

3. Strong interpersonal skills

4. Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment in routine, urgent, and emergent clinical situations

5. Ability to provide therapy to youth and adults across the lifespan, ages12 and up. 

6. Ability and desire to work as part of a clinical team while also able to be self-directed and motivated with minimal supervision

7. Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks

8. Ability to acquire and effectively practice new clinical skills as needed according to evolving agency needs/services

9. Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Suite, zoom, adobe and other electronic signature applications.

10. Experience and comfort with conducting therapy sessions via video conferencing software.

11. Ability to independently set up and troubleshoot video conferencing technology.

12. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other digital tools commonly used in teletherapy.

13. Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to clients in a clear and accessible manner.

14. Familiarity with privacy and security regulations related to telehealth services.

15. Willingness to adapt to new technology and software as needed.

Preferred:

1. Experience/training in TF-CBT, CBT, ABFT, or other evidenced based practice

2. 1 years’ experience providing group therapy
