The Relationship Therapist provides relationship-based treatment services to families, couples, and clients in other relationship structures. The Relationship Therapist works as part of a broader multidisciplinary treatment team that collaborates to provide high-quality clinical services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts evidence-based therapeutic sessions for families, relationship partners, and individuals in person or via telehealth.
• Depending on relationship therapy caseload and referral demand, the Relationship Therapist may carry a small individual therapy caseload.
• Assesses family systems, couples, and individuals in other relationship structures to identify emotional, behavioral, and psychological needs.
• Develops and implements goal-oriented treatment plans in coordination with the treatment team.
• Completes clinical documentation in compliance with Athena protocols and state regulations
• Ensures all clinical notes and client information are updated and accurate within the current EHR system
• Provides conflict resolution and crisis intervention when needed
• Engages in regular clinical supervision to support professional development and client well-being. 

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree from an accredited school in Marriage and Family Therapy,  Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or other closely related field.
• License as a LMFT is preferred; LCSW, LMSW, or LMHC accepted.
• LMFT or LMHC candidates must possess, or be working toward the NYS  diagnostic privilege.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is strong preferred
• Must be passionate about working with underserved communities and possess a high level of engagement, entrepreneurial and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience using computerized appointment scheduling systems and/or electronic Medical Record systems
• Knowledgeable in NYS OMH Outpatient Clinic regulations, HIPAA regulations, and NYS mandated reporting requirements.

• Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills

• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Word, Excel, G-Suite, and other software/applications

\n$45 - $55 an hour

We are a fee-for-service modeled clinic where therapists are paid per session completed.
 
Compensation is based on years of expereince and credentials.

Working Conditions
This position will be located at either the Manhattan office at 33 West 60th Street, New York, NY 10023, Suite 600, the Bronx office at 2825 Third Avenue, Suite 402, Bronx, NY 10455, the Rochester office at 1299 Portland Avenue, Suite1, Rochester, NY 14621 or Remote. This is a professional work environment where a computer, desk, chair and office supplies will be provided onsite at each of our offices.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of the role above.
 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear and speak on the phone or computer throughout the day, stand and sit for an extended period of time and be able to write and answer emails in addition to carrying objects no greater than 25 pounds, when needed.
