Registered Nurse (RN) -Psych in Dartmouth,MA

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care on a Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit. The RN will care for patients ranging from age 5 through geriatric, including individuals experiencing mental health, behavioral health, substance use, and addiction-related conditions.

Pay Rate : 

$53/hour ($21/hour taxable W-2 , $32/hour non taxable stipend) $2120 total weekly hour 
For Local - $53/hour, total weekly hour $2120
40 hours/week guaranteed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with mental health and behavioral health needs.

• Assess patient conditions and monitor changes in physical and emotional status.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.

• Monitor patients for changes in behavior, mood, and overall condition.

• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.

• Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral management as appropriate.

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.

• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and ongoing care.

• Accurately document assessments, interventions, medications, and patient progress.

• Follow all applicable safety, infection control, and clinical standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.

• Behavioral health, psychiatric, substance use, or related experience preferred.

• Strong assessment, communication, and crisis-management skills.

• Ability to work effectively with patients across a wide age range.

• Ability to work every other weekend.
