Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

Work hours: Part-Time, 24 hours per week; variable days. Shifts may be scheduled between 5:30 AM- 6:00 PM or 7:00 AM- 7:30 PM, Monday through Saturday. Open to a variety of shift lengths, including 8,9,10, and 12-hour shifts.

Here’s What You Need

·        Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program

·        BSN preferred

·        1 Year of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting required

·        Perioperative experience preferred

·        RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And

·        BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And

What You Will Do

·        Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

·        Assesses the patient

·        Plans the care of the patient

·        Intervenes as appropriate

·        Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions

·        Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

·        Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant other’s need for information

·        Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.
