Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical PRN

Job Type: PRN | Varied

Schedule: Varied shifts (7p-7a or 7a-7p), 12-hour shifts, minimum of 12 shifts per 12 weeks or 3-month evaluation period (including 2 weekend shifts). 2 holidays per year to include 1 winter and one 1 summer holiday.

How you’ll contribute

A Med/Surg RN who excels in this role:

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to patients with diverse medical and post-surgical needs.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes.

• Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge plans.

• Advocate for patients while fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence in care.

• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a current Montana RN license or Compact RN License with Montana endorsement, and possess an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred

• Certifications: BLS required upon hire; ACLS and HIHSS required within 3 months of hire; Med/Surg RN certification preferred

• Experience: Minimum of 1-year acute care nursing; 2-3 years of acute care nursing preferred
