Full-time Sign on Bonus, Registered Nurse (RN): $7,500

Paid quarterly over term of 2 years. First payment following 90 days of employment

Your Impact: Clinical Anchor & Resident Advocate
As an RN at Optalis, you are the clinical heart of the unit. You aren't just managing tasks—you are a critical decision-maker, a mentor to your team, and the primary link between residents, families, and physicians.
Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Direction: Serve as the Charge Nurse, mentoring and directing the CNA staff to ensure the highest standard of daily resident care.
• Comprehensive Assessment: Perform thorough, high-level patient evaluations, recognizing subtle changes in condition and implementing immediate, life-enhancing interventions.
• Care Planning & Execution: Develop and lead personalized care goals focused on maximizing resident independence and successful recovery.
• Interdisciplinary Synergy: Actively collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to coordinate holistic, "whole-person" care strategies.
• Precision Nursing: Safely and accurately manage complex medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
• Safety Champion: Uphold gold-standard infection control and environmental safety protocols to protect our community.

Who You Are
The Essentials:

• License: Current, unrestricted Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Character: A champion for resident dignity who leads with integrity and empathy.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating Electronic Health Records (EHR) and digital clinical documentation.
• Leadership Skills: Strong communication and delegation skills to effectively lead and support your floor team.

The "Extras" (Preferred):

• Background: 1+ year of experience in a Skilled Nursing (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) setting (Experienced RNs and New Grads are both welcome!).
• Specialty Knowledge: A solid grasp of modern infection control and best practices.
