Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Monitoring & Care: Interpret telemetry, manage vasoactive drips, and handle complex devices like chest tubes and ventilators.
- Assessment & Action: Utilize clinical judgment to recognize patient deterioration and respond to evolving needs.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with physicians and the care team to implement, document, and update patient treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active VA or Compact RN license.
- Experience: 1–2 years of recent acute care (PCU/ICU) experience.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- Skills: Proficiency in arrhythmia recognition and high-turnover patient management.
- Preferred: BSN and PCCN certification.
