IV Registered Nurse

Job Description:

MATTR Biowellness Club is a state-of-the-art holistic wellness space seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Part-Time IV Infusion Nurse. This role is ideal for an RN who has a strong interest in health and wellness, provides exceptional client care, and is confident working independently in a wellness-focused environment. The IV Infusion Nurse will be responsible for providing safe, high-quality IV hydration and vitamin therapy, administering intramuscular (IM) injections, and educating clients on available wellness services. The role will also include peptide education and client follow-up, including helping clients understand their recommended peptide protocols, proper administration, expected outcomes, and when to follow up with the appropriate provider. The nurse will also assist clients with MATTR's other wellness modalities by providing education, answering questions within the scope of the role, and helping create a positive and supportive client experience. Experience with IV therapy, injections, and client education is essential to success in this role.

Qualifications: 

• Possession of a current RN license in the state of Texas. Must provide proof of license.  
• A minimum of two years of nursing experience. 
• At least one year of experience in administering IV’s and injections. 
• An active nursing license in good standing. 
• Comfortable educating clients about IV therapy, injections, peptides, and other wellness services within the scope of the role. 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to client safety. 
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. 
• Proactive, dependable, and self-motivated with a genuine interest in health and wellness. 
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and providers.

Responsibilities:

IV Infusion & Clinical Care 

• Provide IV hydration and vitamin infusions, IV starts, IM injections, biomarker testing, and other approved wellness treatments according to established protocols and provider orders. 
• Assess and monitor clients before, during, and after treatments, recognize changes in condition, and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or situations requiring provider escalation. 
• Maintain safe, sterile, and organized treatment areas and ensure accurate clinical documentation. 

Client Education & Wellness Support 

• Provide personalized education on IV therapy, injections, peptides, and MATTR wellness services, including peptide administration, storage, expected effects, potential side effects, and follow-up. 
• Assist clients with MATTR's other wellness modalities by providing general education, answering questions within the RN's scope of practice, and directing clinical questions or concerns to the appropriate provider. 
• Follow up with clients regarding peptide protocols and treatments, address questions within the RN's scope of practice, and communicate concerns to the appropriate provider. 
• Maintain strong knowledge of MATTR's treatments and wellness offerings while providing an exceptional client experience and adhering to all clinical, safety, compliance, and confidentiality standards.

Shift Schedule 

• Part-Time | Schedule to be determined based on clinic needs and candidate availability. 
• Typical shifts may include weekdays and/or weekends. Flexibility and availability to work a consistent part-time schedule are preferred
