We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team.

📋 Job Summary

As a Weekend RN, you will provide skilled nursing care, clinical oversight, and compassionate support to our long-term care residents during weekend shifts. You will work closely with nursing leadership, CNAs, residents, and families to promote a safe, comfortable, and person-centered care environment.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans, physician orders, and facility policies.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, documenting in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor resident conditions, assess changes, and promptly report concerns to the appropriate provider or nursing leadership.
• Supervise and support CNAs during weekend shifts to ensure quality care and timely assistance with resident needs.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including assessments, progress notes, medication administration records, and incident reports as needed.
• Promote resident dignity, safety, comfort, and quality of life at all times.

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the state board.
• Current CPR certification; additional certifications may be required based on facility policy.
• Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient disposition when interacting with elderly or vulnerable populations.
• Ability to work weekend shifts and respond effectively to resident and facility needs.
