Provide personalized home health care including bowel, bladder, and skin assessments. Manage infusion therapies and maintain clinical records while updating the Director of Nursing and families on patient status.
Job Description
Registered Nurse Position:
- Bowel care 4 days per week and
- One rectal suppository and a Normal saline enema to be given
- Bladder care once every 3 weeks
- Skin assessment during visit
Visits time: 6:30am
Responsibilities
- Care for individual based on personalized Plan of Care Informs the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel of changes in the clients conditions and needs
- Counsels client and family through care process while updating family on a regular basis
- Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Participates in agency performance improvement activities and continuously staying informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care
- Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in our patients homes.
- Make a difference by using your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist our patients recover in the comfort of their own home.
Qualifications
- Bowel and Bladder care experience required
- Current unrestricted RN license in state for which care is being provided
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program Minimum one (1) year of documented Hospital Bedside experience required. Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience with one (1) year experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, preferred
- Reliable car/auto insurance
- Clean background and criminal record
- Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
- Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
