The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing youth, administering medication, and maintaining accurate electronic health records. They also coordinate medical appointments, provide health education, and collaborate with residential staff and psychiatrists to ensure quality care.

Job Details: Job Location: Shafia - Monmouth County, NJ, Position Type: Part Time, Education Level: 4 Year Degree, Salary Range: $38.00 - $45.00Hourly, Job Category: Nurse, Key responsibilities include:
Assessment of youth upon admission and as needed
Administration of medication
Document in Electronic MAR.
Nurse group education with youths.
Communicate with residential staff and report information for care of youth.
Document health issues in electronic record
Arrange medical appointments for the youth.
Engage with youth during shift.
Attend Team meetings/Nursing meetings as scheduled.
Review and audit charts for compliance with Office of Licensing.
Communicate on Daily Electronic Report for each shift.
Communicate with Psychiatrist as needed.
Train staff for in-services as related to care of youth's needs.
Other assigned duties, assignments and responsibilities as required under scope of professional license.
Hours:
Part-time; flexible Monday - Friday; occasional weekend shifts as needed.
Part-time benefits include:

Time and one half paid on Agency holidays
: Education/Experience:
Minimum of three years’ nursing experience or psychiatric nursing experience. Current Registered Nurse license in New Jersey required. Experience with children/adolescents.
