Position Overview
This opportunity is designed specifically for certified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Aspiring RBTs who are interested in expanding their experience in Applied Behavior Analysis. In this role, you will provide direct ABA services to children and their families by implementing individualized treatment plans created by a supervising BCBA. Services are delivered in client homes or community-based environments based on each client's individual needs. Most sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with flexibility to accommodate your availability. Compensation ranges from $22 to $30 per hour depending on experience, availability consistency, and overall qualifications. Spanish-speaking RBTs may qualify for premium pay.

Responsibilities
As an RBT/BT, you will carry out behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs focused on strengthening communication, social interaction, and independence with daily living skills. You will accurately collect session data, follow behavior support plans, and partner with supervising BCBAs and other team members to maintain treatment integrity. Through evidence-based ABA strategies, you will teach meaningful skills while reducing behaviors that may impact safety or independence. Success in this position requires professionalism, dependability, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping clients achieve measurable progress.

Qualifications
Candidates must have an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing or be interested in pursuing RBT certification. Experience working with children, especially in ABA or related pediatric environments, is preferred. Applicants with educational or professional backgrounds in psychology, education, social services, or related fields are encouraged to apply. Strong communication, collaboration, and the ability to maintain a professional and supportive presence are essential.

Additional requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred), a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance listing you as a covered driver. A current negative TB test is required.

Physical and Cognitive Requirements:

• Frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and transition between floor-level and standing positions throughout the workday.

• Actively participate in developmentally appropriate client activities, including floor-based activities, movement-based activities, transitions, and safety monitoring.

• Safely navigate assigned work environments, including homes, clinics, schools, community settings, and remote/telehealth settings, as applicable.

• Occasionally, lift, carry, push, pull, or move therapy materials and equipment, typically up to 50 pounds.

• Sit for extended periods while providing telehealth services or completing computer-based work as needed.

• Use hands and fingers to operate computers, keyboards, mobile devices, and other equipment requiring fine motor coordination.

• Maintain visual and auditory awareness to observe client behavior, monitor safety, and communicate effectively in both in-person and virtual settings.

• Read, understand, retain, and apply written and verbal information.

• Maintain attention, concentration, situational awareness, and sound judgment in dynamic environments.

• Collect, record, and submit accurate client data and session documentation.

• Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.

• Maintain professionalism and emotional resilience when addressing sensitive client or employee matters, complaints, and workplace concerns.

Incentive Pay Structure

• $1/hour increase after maintaining consistent availability for 90 consecutive days

• Additional $1/hour increase for maintaining active RBT certification and strong performance

Cancellation Policy
We value and protect our RBTs'/BTs' time. If a client cancels within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time, or if you have already departed for the session, you will receive up to 2 hours of paid cancellation time. We also monitor recurring client cancellations to help protect technician schedules and support stable, consistent hours.
