POSITION OVERVIEW (Job Summary):

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable sales growth and expanding market share within an assigned territory by developing new business opportunities and strengthening existing customer relationships. This role manages the full sales cycle for capital extrusion equipment projects, from prospecting and proposal development through negotiation and contract execution. As the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, the Regional Sales Manager works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Service to deliver technical and commercial solutions that meet customer needs while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The position also supports territory planning, sales forecasting, market analysis, and represents CPM at customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

· Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional sales objectives and grow market share.

· Build, maintain, and expand relationships with new and existing customers.

· Manage the complete sales process, including prospecting, solution development, quotations, negotiations, and contract execution.

· Develop technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with Engineering and other internal teams.

· Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.

· Identify customer needs and recommend equipment and process solutions based on application requirements.

· Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.

· Prepare sales forecasts, maintain CRM activity, and support business planning.

· Represent CPM at customer sites, trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

· Travel throughout the assigned territory and internationally as required.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

· Minimum 5 years of experience selling capital equipment, engineered products, or industrial manufacturing solutions.

· Experience in extrusion, plastics compounding, polymer processing, recycling, or related industries strongly preferred.

· Demonstrated success selling complex technical solutions and managing long sales cycles.

· Strong commercial, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand manufacturing processes and technical equipment.

· Proven ability to develop lasting customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.

· Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM, and ERP systems.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
