Regional Placement Coordinator, Summer Work and Travel

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Placement Coordinator, Summer Work and Travel based in the United States.

This role drives placement growth and delivers high-quality support across Summer Work and Travel programs within an assigned territory.
You will build and manage relationships with host employers while identifying new placement and business development opportunities.
The position combines B2B sales, account management, stakeholder engagement, participant support, and community relationship building.
You will also help secure housing solutions for participants and work with host families and local coordinators when employer-provided housing is unavailable.
The role requires a proactive, consultative approach to employer needs, workforce planning, program utilization, and long-term account growth.
You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve challenges, support participant success, and maintain strong program quality.
This is a fast-paced, international, and collaborative remote opportunity focused on creating successful exchange experiences for participants, employers, and communities.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and manage relationships with new and existing host employers to generate placements across multiple Summer Work and Travel programs within an assigned territory.
• Identify, recruit, and support host families and local coordinators to provide housing solutions when employer-provided accommodation is unavailable.
• Execute proactive outreach strategies to engage prospective host employers, renew existing accounts, and expand placement opportunities.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while consistently working toward and exceeding individual sales and placement goals.
• Provide consultative guidance to host employers on hiring strategies, workforce planning, and effective use of program offerings.
• Manage employer accounts by building strong relationships, ensuring commitments are fulfilled, and identifying opportunities for retention and growth.
• Support the planning and execution of host-focused community events designed to strengthen relationships and increase stakeholder engagement.
• Track and report sales activity, placement performance, account results, and other relevant metrics.
• Analyze performance data and adjust outreach, sales, and engagement strategies to support placement and business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with compliance, participant services, and other internal teams to promote host satisfaction, participant success, and overall program quality.
• Respond proactively to employer and participant needs, helping resolve challenges and maintain a positive program experience.
• Maintain consistent communication with employers, participants, host families, community partners, and other stakeholders throughout the placement lifecycle.
• Deliver a high-quality stakeholder experience through proactive communication, responsiveness, relationship management, and customer service.
• Contribute to stakeholder satisfaction and placement quality as measured through relevant performance indicators, including NPS results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3–5 years of demonstrated sales success, preferably in B2B sales or human capital solutions.
• Strong ability to interpret metrics, draw meaningful conclusions, and develop strategies based on performance data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with remote field teams and geographically distributed stakeholders.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate information and reach practical conclusions efficiently.

• Strong technology proficiency; experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, and Microsoft Teams is preferred.
