Overview
We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and goal-oriented Regional National Account Manager, Off-Premise, based in the Texas market. This individual will be responsible for driving sales with key off-premise accounts, collaborating with distributor managers and sales teams, executing special events, and delivering market insights to the Director of National Accounts, Off-Premise.
Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of this position include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):
- 45% Account management / 40% Distributor management / 15% Administrative duties
- Maintain a key account list and develop personal relationships with key buyers/owners and managers
- Work with local distributors and sell portfolio to key off-premise chain accounts in AR, CO, LA, NM, OK & TX
- Educate / Inform / Motivate chain distributor salespeople
- Support local Kobrand Market Managers with distributor management along with providing input and support to planning and review meetings
- Perform market sales/distribution blitzes and surveys
- Develop monthly merchandising execution plans by chain to align with programs and account goals
- Propose and conduct off-premise chain promotional events to promote brands at the consumer level
- Accountable for increasing distribution and case volume in a defined universe of chain accounts
- Identify trends and opportunities and propose plans to the Director of National Accounts, Off-Premise
- Manage market universe POS needs
- Utilize Nielsen/VIP data to identify account-specific opportunities for the Kobrand portfolio and create data-driven sales presentations
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years calling on National or Regional Accounts with multiple state responsibilities
- Must have proven track record in developing new business, managing existing accounts and maintaining business relationships
- Regional corporate experience & relationships with the following accounts a plus: HEB, Specs, Twins, Albertson’s and Rouse’s
- National corporate experience & relationships with Whole Foods, Walmart & Sam’s Club a plus
- Must have exceptional closing skills, strong verbal/written communication, and organizational skills
- Passion and knowledge of wine, wine regions and the wine industry (WSET / CSW a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong computer skills are a MUST (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to comfortably lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to travel within the territory up to 40% of the time
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to comfortably lift and carry up to fifty pounds.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods.

The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on several factors, including but not limited to prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service, and geographic location. This job classification is bonus-eligible, with bonus potential subject to applicable bonus plan terms.
