Regional Account Manager - Business Development

Description

Solution Dynamics, a division of Lift Products and Ballymore Safety Products, is a leader in supplying industrial equipment solutions used in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, logistics, and other operations across the country. We're seeking an energetic, results-driven salesperson to grow our presence by building net new customer relationships from scratch and deepening the ones already in place. This role drives territory growth through proactive outreach, consultative B2B sales, and helping customers identify the right equipment solutions for their operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· New Business — Generate outbound calls and activity to open new relationships with a hunter mentality.

· Account Targeting — Identify and target high-potential accounts, execute plans to win new business.

· Discovery — Engage decision-makers at both executive and operational levels. 

· Solution Selling — Develop tailored solutions that improve safety, ergonomics, efficiency, and throughput.

· Demonstrations — Schedule and deliver impactful product demonstrations and presentations.

· Problem-Solve — Understand pain points and create practical solutions alongside prospective customers.

· Relationship Building — Continually support existing customers, while uncovering new opportunities.

· Team Selling — Partner closely with our internal departments and manufacturing partners.

· Support — Provide customers with product expertise, proposals, and technical assistance.

· Account Development — Grow existing accounts by uncovering new product opportunities.

· Strategy — Think lateral; identifying adjacent needs, additional facilities, future capital projects, etc.

· Pipeline — Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue and margin targets.

· Attention to Detail — Monitor and update CRM to optimize customer experience sales performance.

· Market Awareness — Track and report on the competitive landscape and shifts in the marketplace.

· Occasional Travel — Customer visits, facility walkthroughs, and tradeshows as opportunities arise.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

· 4+ years of B2B sales experience.· Four-year degree in sales, business, or a related field.· A consultative, solution-based sales approach backed by strong business acumen.· Understanding of sales process, from lead generation to close; including cold and warm calling.· Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal.· Ability to quickly learn, adapt, multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.· Self-directed and organized, with an emphasis on persuasion, influence, negotiating, and closing.· Ability to generate/analyze reports, present ideas/analysis effectively, and make strategic decisions.· Familiarity with lift tables, material handling equipment, and industrial equipment is a plus.
