Position Overview

Greater St. Louis Area Scouting is seeking a detail-oriented and personable Recruitment Assistant to support our mission of developing young leaders. You will be the engine behind our hiring process—managing our applicant tracking system, identifying quality candidates, and acting as an ambassador for Scouting.

This is a flexible, part-time role perfect for someone looking to build a career in Human Resources or Recruiting while making a tangible impact on the community.

Primary Responsibilities

Maintain and update our recruitment database.
Review resumes and identify candidates who align with our organizational values and job requirements.
Occasionally attend local career fairs and community events.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; current college students or recent graduates pursuing opportunities in Human Resources, Business, Non-Profit Management or Communications are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a quick learner of new software/databases.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a "people-first" attitude.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across a 20-hour work week.
Reliable transportation is required.

Light travel to event sites within the St. Louis metropolitan area (mileage reimbursement provided).

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
