Recreation Therapist - $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year to start. AWARE - Great Falls, MT - Full Time

Responsibilities:
- Ability to work remotely in assigned location / region;
- Ability to travel via personal vehicle or AWARE vehicle to designated cities / regions to meet with clients and provide services;
- Experience in assessment and observational skills;
- Experience planning and implementing TR interventions to assist clients in increasing independence in lifestyle;
- Experience researching and applying evidence-based practices in Therapeutic Recreation;
- Design TR protocols, session plans and processes;
- Implements interventions that are sensitive to the client age, cultural background, stage of development, limitations of disabling conditions, skill and experience level;
- Document and evaluate services for efficiency and quality

Requirements
Talents, skills, and abilities:
- A bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation which meets the standards of NCTRC.
- Completion of a NCTRC approved internship.
- CTRS certification at hire strongly preferred or the ability to obtain national certification of CTRS within one year of hire.
