Receptionist On Call

Overview

Mirabella at ASU, a modern, upscale retirement community in downtown Tempe, is seeking a On Call Receptionist for our Resident Services team to assist with front desk issues, oversight, communication, reporting, and processes. You will be responsible for projecting an outgoing, friendly personality while meeting and greeting visitors as well as assisting residents and employees with their needs.  

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Provide front desk coverage by greeting residents, guests, vendors, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, provide information, and route inquiries to the appropriate departments.
• Assist residents, employees, and visitors with questions, directions, and general support both in person and over the phone.
• Handle mail, packages, and deliveries while maintaining accurate records and ensuring proper distribution.
• Support front desk operations by maintaining organization, assisting with clerical tasks, and helping ensure a safe and secure environment.

About you: 

• One year experience in clerical office work, reception, scheduling, and front desk experience is preferred.
• Prior experience dealing with the public regularly and ability to demonstrate restraint and professionalism in delivering customer service to residents and the public.
• Ability to read, speak, write, and follow oral and written directions. Ability to fill out forms, keep accurate records, and submit reports.
• Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Organizational skills.
• Good phone technique. Knowledge of basic office equipment (multi-phone lines, fax machines, computers, typewriters, photocopiers).

Schedule: Varied hours to include mornings, days, afternoons and overnights. 

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 hr / DOE
