The Per Diem Receptionist plays a key role as the first-person residents, families, and visitors encounter when entering the main building. This position is responsible for greeting and interacting with residents, family, staff, visitors, and the general public in a favorable, courteous, respectful, and helpful manner, both in person and on the telephone. The Receptionist also maintains various resident lists, logs and directories; processes payments for rent, guest accommodations and meal accounts; monitors the fire alarm panel; sorts U.S. mail; and assists with miscellaneous clerical work as needed.

Receptionist Skills and Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of a high school diploma
• Have a personable manner, pleasant speaking voice, and neat appearance
• Be able to work and communicate effectively with visitors, residents, staff and other affiliates of Heath Village
• Possess proficient writing and verbal communication skills
• Be computer literate and able to operate general office equipment
• Be adaptable to change and able to handle crises and emergencies
• Have an understanding of an affection for, and a desire to work with the elderly

Every other weekend: Every other Saturday - 3pm - 9pm & Every other -Sunday - 3pm - 7pm 

Coverage for time off, vacations, holidays, etc.
