R&D Formulations Intern

Job DetailsJob Location: Oakwood Village, OH 44146Position Type: InternshipThe R&D Formulation Internship will provide you with hands-on experience developing polymer based pharmaceutical products, with exposure to pre-formulation experiments, product formulation testing, and process scale-up ranging from laboratory to pilot scale. This internship will also provide opportunities for coaching and mentoring, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams involved in pharmaceutical product development, and the opportunity to present a summary of your work to the R&D team. QualificationsWe are seeking students pursuing a Bachelor's degree who have completed at least their junior year and are majoring in Chemical Engineering. Biomedical Engineering, or similar degrees. Candidates should demonstrate  strong communication skills, an eagerness to learn, team focus, high level of self-motivation, and a desire to work in a laboratory setting. 

The typical summer term is 10 to 12 weeks beginning in May.
The internship is in-person in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
Housing assistance, if needed, includes a monthly stipend.
Temporary housing can be coordinated through Oakwood, however, housing arrangements are the students responsibility. 
Transportation is the student's responsibility.
Pay rate is $20.00 per hour. 
This position is overtime eligible.
