Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist:

• Performs radiographic procedures, producing images for the interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.
• Demonstrates an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. 
• Maintains a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique. They maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety.
• Prepares, administers and documents activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and institutional policy. 
• Remains sensitive to the physical , cultural and emotional needs of the patient through excellent communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring and patient care skills.

• BLS Certification
• RT (R) ARRT or Certification eligible technologists hired upon graduation pass examination prior to start date
