Quality Engineer Intern

Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Quality Engineer Intern to join our team and support ongoing quality initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in a professional environment where you will learn how quality systems, inspections, and process improvements contribute to delivering premium products and services.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and other teams to ensure products and processes meet quality system, industry standards, and customer expectations.

What you will learn:

• Support the development and maintenance of our Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Gain exposure to ISO 9001:2015 standards, industry best practices, and customer quality requirements.
• Complete inspections or modify inspection systems to ensure products meet customer requirements.
• Contribute to special projects related to compliance or continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education:

• Junior or Senior in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree; engineering preferred.

Experience:

• Lean Six Sigma manufacturing experience desired
• QMS Auditor experience desired.
