Quality Engineer Intern

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Engineer Intern to join our team in Summer 2027.

 This role is ideal for a motivated student looking to gain real-world experience in electronics manufacturing quality systems and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in quality inspections of PCBAs at various stages of production (incoming, in-process, and final)
• Supporting failure analysis and root cause investigations for non-conforming products
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
• Participating in audits (internal and customer) and preparing quality documentation
• Collecting and analyzing production and quality data using tools like Pareto charts, control charts, and FMEAs
• Helping maintain and improve quality management system (QMS) documentation in compliance with ISO 9001
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process control implementation

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Quality Engineering, Electrical Engineering,, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with PCBA manufacturing processes (SMT, AOI, reflow, X-ray, functional testing, etc.) is a plus
• Basic understanding of quality standards such as ISO 9001 or IPC-A-610 is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with data analysis tools is a plus
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a manufacturing environment
