General Qualifications

Requirements vary by position. Candidates may be required to have:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License for applicable security positions
• Required training and certifications based on the position
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A professional appearance and demeanor
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• Availability that meets the scheduling requirements of the position

FLSD opportunities require the appropriate New York City Fire & Life Safety Director credentials and qualifications.
