Position Overview

MAY Management is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of one of our residential communities. This part-time position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, works well independently, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for residents and guests. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, and capable of completing daily cleaning responsibilities efficiently and professionally.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities
• Professional and dependable work ethic
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to safely handle cleaning products and equipment
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, fitness centers, clubhouses, and other community amenities
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and restroom products as needed
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the property
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to management
• Assist with setup and cleanup for community events when needed
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper storage of supplies
• Follow established safety and sanitation procedures
• Help maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness standards of the community

Schedule

• Part-time position
• Approximately 26 hours per week
• Schedule may include mornings, afternoons, and occasional weekends based on community needs
