Customer Service Representative

Transdev in West Covina, California is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative to act as a liaison for our customers, providers, and client. We are seeking friendly, customer service-oriented people who are dedicated to safety.

Transdev is proud to offer:

• Competitive compensation package of Minimum $18.50 (per hour) – Maximum $22.17 (per hour)
• Part-time position is equivalent to 20 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answers customer inquiries via phone and in person
• Answer customer calls and input ride information using a computerized scheduling system.
• Intake service-related inquiries and complaints
• Communicate late vehicle service and verifying “No Shows” with customers.
• Answers questions and provides information about services.
• Clearly and accurately documents issues.
• Resolves customer inquiries relating to transportation; communicates resolution to customers.
• Operates a Point of Sales (POS) for the sale of fare media.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

·           High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

·           2 years customer service experience

·           1 year cash handling experience

·           Computer literate

·           Excellent customer service skills

·           Excellent communication and listening skills.

·           Ability to operate standard telephone system.

·           Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
• 100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
• Work is accomplished at a workstation or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone, headset, and computer.
• Push and pull up to 25lbs occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50lbs with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files stored at ground level.
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, and vehicle fumes and noise.
