Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – for Arizona Flexible Hours Work From Home

Established Arizona medical practice seeks an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a work from home position.

Our practice has been serving elderly patients for 15 years  within retirement communities and licensed assisted living homes and is continuing to expand our psychiatric services. We are looking for a knowledgeable, dependable Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is comfortable treating both geriatric and general adult populations. This is a work from home position which means no driving and the ability to see more patients!

Requirements

• Must have experience working as a PMHNP
• Active, unrestricted Arizona license with no current disciplinary actions or restrictions
• Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner qualifications appropriate to practice in Arizona
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medication management
• Experience treating geriatric patients as well as the general adult population
• Ability to navigate video calls for consultation with the patient 
• Comfortable working independently and exercising strong clinical judgment
• Reliable, professional, and timely with documentation

Position

This is a work from home position with a flexible schedule. Providers may establish their availability Monday through Friday, making this an excellent opportunity to work around another practice or professional commitment.

To make documentation efficient and consistent, the provider will be given a charting template to follow.

Compensation

Compensation is a flat rate of $40 per encounter only when counseling is performed. Counseling template/  format will be provided to the provider for use during these encounters.

We are looking for a provider interested in developing a long-term relationship with an established and growing practice.
