Position Summary: The Proposal & Capture Manager serves as a key member of the Growth & Development team, directly supporting the Director of Growth & Development in executing the company's strategic growth objectives across the Department of Defense, U.S. Army, Special Operations Forces (SOF), Naval Special Warfare (NSW), and related federal markets. This position focuses primarily on opportunity identification, capture execution, customer engagement, and industry partner development. The individual will work closely with company leadership to expand Seventh Dimension's market presence, strengthen strategic relationships, and position the company for future contract awards. Approximately 70% of the role is dedicated to capture management, opportunity shaping, strategic teammate development, market intelligence, and customer engagement activities. The remaining 30% is dedicated to proposal management and business development operations, including coordinating proposal efforts, managing schedules, supporting proposal development, and ensuring timely, compliant submissions.

The ideal candidate is a former military professional with operational experience within Army, SOF, NSW, Intelligence, or related defense organizations and possesses the ability to translate customer needs and mission requirements into actionable growth strategies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Growth, Capture & Strategic Partner Engagement (70%)

• Support the Director of Growth & Development in executing strategic growth, capture, and business development initiatives.

• Identify, research, and track federal opportunities aligned with company growth objectives.

• Support capture activities by gathering and organizing customer, competitor, and market intelligence.

• Develop and maintain relationships with government customers, industry partners, and prospective teammates.

• Assist in identifying and evaluating strategic teaming and subcontracting opportunities.

• Participate in customer engagements, industry days, conferences, and networking events as required.

• Maintain opportunity pipeline information and business development tracking systems to ensure data remains current and accessible.

• Coordinate the internal flow of information and documents supporting capture and business development efforts.

• Assist leadership with opportunity assessments, pursuit planning, and bid/no-bid activities.

Proposal Management & Business Development Operations (30%)

• Coordinate proposal schedules, deadlines, deliverables, and review activities.

• Assist in preparing, formatting, and organizing proposal content, resumes, past performance information, and supporting documentation.

• Support proposal reviews and ensure action items are tracked through completion.

• Provide support during production and submission of final proposals to ensure compliance with solicitation requirements.

• Maintain proposal repositories, templates, lessons learned, and related business development resources.

• Support reporting, tracking, and other growth-related initiatives as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and relationship-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.

• Willingness to travel in support of customer meetings, industry events, and business development activities.

• Interest in business development, capture management, proposal development, and federal contracting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred: Military experience within the U.S. Army, Special Operations Forces (SOF), Naval Special Warfare (NSW), Intelligence Community, or related operational organizations.

• Preferred: Existing relationships within the DoD, Army, SOCOM, NSW, Intelligence Community, or defense industry.

• Preferred: Experience supporting capture management, business development, recruiting, growth initiatives, or proposal efforts.

• Preferred: Familiarity with federal acquisition processes & government contracting environments.

• Preferred: Experience identifying, qualifying, or tracking federal business opportunities.

• Preferred: Experience developing or supporting teaming relationships and industry partnerships.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, CRM systems, GovWin, or similar opportunity-tracking tools.

• Preferred: Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
