Who This Is For

This posting is intended primarily for coaches and former student-athletes who are interested in the possibility of building a career at Halftime Help.

Your playing days may have ended years ago. You may have coached. You may already have experience in another profession or in the services we provide. What matters most is the disposition you bring with you: coachability, reliability, accountability, teamwork, resilience, competitive drive, and a desire to improve.

Current or previous participation in a structured athletic or coaching environment is a requirement. Industry experience is not.

We hire for the teammate first. We can teach the work.

Everyone Starts at the Foundation

Every teammate starts part-time, at the same starting wage, and in the Rookie phase. You may arrive with significant experience in property care, equipment, leadership, management, or another profession. That experience matters and may accelerate your development. It does not let you skip ahead. What you already know matters. How we do things here, and why we do them that way, matters just as much.

Starting pay: $16/hour | Compensation potential: $16–$30/hour | Hourly, non-exempt; overtime eligible

What the Work Involves

Halftime Help cares for residential properties throughout the South Denver metro area. You will begin in the field working with a crew on hands-on property care that may include:

• Lawn maintenance and lawn care
• Landscaping and seasonal cleanups
• Property upkeep and snow removal
• Loading, unloading, and caring for equipment
• Operating tools and machinery after training
• Other property services as the company evolves

This is physical, outdoor work. You will work in changing weather, use equipment, move materials, solve problems, and represent Halftime Help on customers' properties.
Some teammates may eventually drive company vehicles once legally eligible, trained, and approved. Rookie positions do not require driving. If you are looking for a desk job, a window seat, and a comfortable office setting, this isn't the place.

We train how the work is done. We do not compromise how the work is approached.

How You Grow

We strongly favor promotion from within because future leaders should understand the work, the operation, and the people they may eventually lead. Learn. Perform. Demonstrate. Grow. Repeat.

A typical field progression may include: Rookie → Starter → Captain → Assistant Coach → Head Coach

Captain is the first formal crew-leadership role. From there, opportunities may develop in Operations, Training & Development, Customer Experience, Finance, Administration, Fleet/Facilities/Equipment, Management, Senior Leadership, and roles that do not exist yet.

For strong performers who consistently build skills, perform well, and grow into leadership, coming close to doubling the starting wage within the first 12 months is genuinely possible. That takes a lot of quality reps. But that is the goal. The more capable you are, the more hours you can earn.

Everyone starts part-time. Continued development can open the door to more consistent schedules and eventually full-time opportunities.

Where This Can Go

Halftime Help is still a small company, but our ambitions aren't. We intend to grow far beyond the communities we serve today, with the long-term aspiration of building a company with a national presence.

That will require capable people who can strengthen today's operation, lead crews, develop teammates, manage functions, and eventually free other leaders to focus on expansion.

You may ultimately grow into a role that does not exist here today. We cannot promise where your path ends, but if you want to grow, there should be plenty of room to run.
