Project Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager based in United States.

As a Project Manager, you will own the end-to-end delivery of customer implementation projects for cloud-based accounts payable automation and spend management solutions.
You will serve as the primary point of contact connecting customers, internal delivery teams, consultants, technical specialists, and implementation partners.
The role combines project planning, customer relationship management, risk mitigation, budget oversight, and cross-functional coordination.
You will guide enterprise customers from project kickoff through go-live and hypercare, ensuring milestones, scope, resources, and quality remain on track.
The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite leaders.
You will also contribute to improving implementation methodologies, delivery processes, and supporting tools as the organization continues to scale globally.
This is a remote U.S. opportunity suited to an experienced project manager who thrives in fast-paced B2B SaaS and technology implementation environments.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of customer implementation projects, from initial kickoff through go-live and post-launch hypercare.
• Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, milestones, resource plans, and delivery expectations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including consultants, developers, integration specialists, customer stakeholders, and implementation partners.
• Proactively identify, assess, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and potential delivery blockers.
• Manage customer expectations throughout the implementation lifecycle and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
• Drive adherence to established implementation methodologies, delivery standards, and project management best practices.
• Facilitate steering committee meetings, project status meetings, executive updates, and regular reporting.
• Monitor project performance against agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Ensure successful delivery and a smooth transition to Customer Success following go-live.
• Manage project budgets and associated financial considerations throughout delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation processes, methodologies, tooling, and delivery practices.
• Maintain clear communication across customer, internal, and partner teams to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of project management experience, ideally within B2B SaaS, ERP, fintech, or software implementation environments.
• Proven track record of delivering complex software or technology projects on time and within budget.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with enterprise customers across multiple geographies and manage complex stakeholder groups.
• Strong project planning, organization, prioritization, risk management, and budget management skills.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and relationship-building abilities, including confidence working with C-suite and executive stakeholders.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to coordinate consultants, developers, integration specialists, customers, and partners toward shared outcomes.
• Ability to proactively identify challenges, resolve issues, manage competing priorities, and maintain project momentum.
• Strong understanding of software implementation lifecycles, project governance, and structured delivery methodologies.
• Experience facilitating steering committees, project meetings, executive updates, and status reporting.
• Customer-focused, accountable, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership of end-to-end project outcomes.
• Experience with accounts payable automation, procure-to-pay (P2P), or ERP platforms such as D365, SAP, Oracle, or Unit4 is preferred.
• Familiarity with financial processes and the needs of the Office of the CFO is a plus.
• Experience working with partner- or systems-integrator-led delivery models is preferred.

• Estimated base salary range of $125,000–$135,000 USD.
