We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project management of utility-scale solar and/or battery storage projects and strong people management experience. In this role, you will be key in ensuring the Project Controls team keep projects on track, within budget, and meet objectives by managing project schedules, costs, and resources, while also providing reports and analysis to stakeholders.

With 2 GW of solar and battery energy storage projects we are well positioned for continued success in the rapidly growing clean energy sector. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Take the lead and support project management teams with:

Preconstruction planning & quantity takeoffs
Budget creation & management
Change management & claims
Cost analysis & forecasting
Progress updates & performance analysis surrounding earned value management concepts
Project-specific and company-wide reporting requirements
Schedule performance & time-impact analysis
Compiling, reviewing and analyzing project controls related data while interfacing with upper management and project teams on results and providing innovative solutions to scheduling & cost performance
Train project management in the use of other Project Controls processes, tools & reporting
Prepare project progress billings
Assist with proposal budget reviews & cash flows
Develop processes & procedures as assigned
May require some travel to project sites
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field, Master’s Degree is a plus
5+ years of project controls, cost, scheduling & planning or related work experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
Organizational skills and ability to manage simultaneous tasks/assignments
Exceptional team building skills and ability to collaborate with groups throughout the company
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage complex assignments & multiple projects
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience in CMiC preferred
Experience in Procore preferred
Experience in Power-BI preferred
Experience in P6 Professional preferred
