This may be the role for you! Anchor Bay - East Providence is seeking a patient, innovative programmer who is creative, friendly, compassionate and organized to assist the Program Director in creating, scheduling and implementing programs for our residents.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

Part Time: Fridays: 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Saturdays and Sundays: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

PAY & BENEFITS:

Rates start at $16 per hour

WHAT OUR PROGRAMMING ASSISTANTS DO:

• Form meaningful relationships with residents and families;
• Help implement and coordinate the balanced daily programming schedule for 7 days per week;
• Support with coordination of entertainment including guest lecturers, musicians, and fitness instructors;
• Participate in scheduled outings, ensuring safety of residents on transportation and off-site
• Support with developing monthly newsletter, taking photos, and updating social media

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: Experience working with elderly and/or Alzheimer's populations, preferred
• Physical requirements: Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
