The Opportunity:
CACI is offering an exciting opportunity for an academically accomplished and technically oriented individual who is looking for a paid internship during the summer of 2027! The internship will begin in May and last for 12 weeks. You will be part of a team that specializes in designing and manufacturing high-performance RF components and systems that are critical for modern communication, defense, and aerospace applications. You will assist the program management team and provide support across the project life cycle of various efforts. You will monitor and oversee the completion of project tasks and will work under the direction of the Program Support Manager at the CACI Melbourne office. This position will be fully on-site, and the selected candidate will be expected to work at our Melbourne, FL office.

Responsibilities:
As a Program Support Intern, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to impactful projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting managers in planning, tracking, and executing project tasks and deliverables
• Supporting the development and maintenance of project documentation, such as timelines, status reports, and risk logs
• Coordinate the supply chain personnel (material planners and buyers) to ensure alignment and effective collaboration
• Monitor and report on supply chain performance metrics to ensure program goals are met
• Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting key takeaways and action items
• Monitoring project milestones, deadlines, and dependencies to ensure timely completion
• Collaborating closely with Program Management and Material Planning to reconcile forecasted material demand against actual procurement activity to maintain visibility of shortages, delays, or over-procurement and communicate discrepancies to program leadership
• Identifying risks, roadblocks, and opportunities for process improvements
• Maintaining integrated master schedules and customer reports as needed
• Assisting in the creation of presentations and reports for project updates
• Providing general administrative support to the leadership teams as required

Qualifications:

Required: 

• Must be an incoming or graduating high school senior with demonstrated academic achievement OR a current full-time undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate student, preferably in Project Management, Operations, or a technical or related field
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for
  employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Desired:

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project is a plus
• Preferred experience includes previous internships in a program management-related field

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$39,400 - $60,700
