Rate of pay: $18-$22. Final compensation is based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.
Essential Responsibilities
Adult Sports Instructor is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading adult recreational sports programs and activities. The instructor will work with individuals or groups, teaching sports skills, promoting teamwork, and ensuring safety and inclusiveness for all participants.
Pickleball- responsible for teaching and leading pickleball classes, lessons, and clinics for individuals or groups of various skill levels. This role involves developing engaging instructional programs, promoting the game of pickleball.
• Design, organize, and deliver pickleball lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players.
• Teach proper techniques for serving, rallying, and scoring, as well as effective strategies for doubles and singles play.
• Tailor lessons to participants' skill levels, offering progressions and adjustments as needed.
• Demonstrate various drills, movements, and techniques to improve player performance. and ensure that all participants have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Minimum Qualifications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in planning, organizing, and implementing sports programs, preferably in an adult sports or recreation setting.
• Experience in program administration, including participant registration, event coordination, and resource management.
• Knowledge of adult sports programming, rules, and regulations for various sports.
• Understanding safety protocols, injury prevention, and risk management in sports programs.
• Knowledge of group dynamics and ability to work with diverse populations.

Diabetes Prevention Program
A program for those who have prediabetes or are at high risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes. The Program is a year-long program, developed in conjunction with Indiana University and recognized by CDC, consists of 16-1 hour-sessions, followed by 6-8 monthly meetings. The classroom-based program is proven that by eating healthier, increasing physical activity and losing a small amount of weight, a person with pre-diabetes who is overweight can prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes .

Healthy Lifestyles Behavior Change Program
The program, developed with Stanford University, is a behavior change program where participants focus on one health goal for the duration of the program. In a classroom setting, participants in learning about healthier eating, physical activity and other behavior changes over the course of 22 one-hour sessions. Improved self-confidence and achievement in accomplishing short- and long-term health goals are typical outcomes of the program.
