Program Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors in the main office
•  Answer and direct phone calls and respond to basic inquiries
• Pick up and sort mail and packages; make occasional on-campus deliveries
• Help with everyday office tasks like data entry, document formatting, copying, scanning, and filing
• Keep office supplies stocked and organized; submit work requests when needed
• Help schedule and manage conference room calendars
• Support departmental events and projects
• Assist with tracking department equipment and materials
• Help update the department’s social media and website
• Represent the department at New Student Orientation (NSO) sessions
• Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with students and visitors
• Organized and able to manage tasks independently
• Comfortable with basic computer tasks (Word, email, simple data entry)
• Interest in supporting department events and student engagement
• Available during business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; schedule can be flexible)
• Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese preferred
