Position Summary

The Part-Time Production Fulfillment Associate  supports the daily fulfillment and production operations of Red Bay Coffee across e-commerce, wholesale, retail transfer, and large-scale partner accounts. This role is responsible for accurately preparing, packaging, fulfilling, and organizing coffee orders while maintaining inventory awareness and ensuring timely shipment and delivery across all sales channels.

This position requires strong organization, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce Fulfillment

• Process and fulfill customer orders from platforms including Shopify, ShippingEasy, Temu, and other e-commerce channels.

• Prioritize fulfillment based on order age, inventory availability, and shipping timelines.

• Print and organize shipping labels and packing slips.

• Prepare and fill coffee bags according to daily fulfillment reports.

• Monitor Shopify pickup orders and post-purchase discounted orders.

• Coordinate fulfillment timing to align with USPS and UPS pickup schedules.

• Ensure orders are fulfilled within 1–2 business days whenever possible.

Wholesale & Partner Fulfillment

• Fulfill wholesale coffee orders using SOS Inventory.

• Prepare and package primarily 5 lb coffee bags for wholesale customers.

• Support large-scale fulfillment projects for partners such as grocery and retail accounts.

• Complete prep work including bag dating, labeling, packaging, pallet building, and staging shipments.

Cafe Transfer Orders

• Prepare transfer orders for Red Bay retail cafe locations.

• Organize and pack orders by location and delivery schedule.

• Ensure all items are packed accurately and inventory discrepancies are communicated promptly.

Inventory & Production Support

• Assist with maintaining accurate packaging, sticker, green coffee, and raw ingredient inventory levels.

• Generate and review bagging and fulfillment reports.

• Support end-of-month inventory counts and reconciliation processes.

• Maintain organized inventory storage and production workspaces.

• Identify low inventory levels or operational issues impacting fulfillment timelines.

Operational Standards

• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and organizational standards throughout the production facility.

• Follow company SOPs and safety guidelines.

• Communicate proactively with production leadership regarding delays, shortages, or fulfillment concerns.

• Support cross-functional production and roasting operations as needed.

Requirements

• Previous fulfillment, warehouse, production, or food/beverage operations experience preferred.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Comfortable using inventory and fulfillment software platforms such as Shopify, ShippingEasy, SOS Inventory, or similar systems.

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus but not required.

• Familiarity with shipping carriers including USPS and UPS.

• Inventory counting and reconciliation experience.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
