We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plasma Table Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining plasma cutting machines to produce precise metal components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and fabrication will ensure high-quality outputs that meet strict specifications. Compensation rate : $20.00-$24.00 / hr

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate plasma cutting machines, ensuring accurate cuts according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings
- Program CNC plasma tables using CAD/CAM software to optimize cutting paths and improve efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on plasma tables and related equipment to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and technical specifications for fabrication projects
- Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality inspection of finished parts
- Fabricate components using various tools such as press brake machines, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, welding equipment, and stamping presses
- Operate forklifts and cranes safely to move sheet metal, raw materials, or finished products within the facility
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure parts meet specifications and standards
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes and tooling adjustments as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating plasma cutting machinery within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Strong knowledge of CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, and machining processes including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and electrical discharge machining (EDM)
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawings
- Hands-on experience with welding techniques and sheet metal fabrication
- Ability to use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, micrometer gauges, and other precision measurement instruments accurately
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to crane operation, tool handling, and machine operation
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and quality control checks
- Mechanical aptitude with a focus on tooling setup, fabrication techniques, and troubleshooting machinery issues
