Product Leader

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Leader based in United States.

This director-level product leadership role is responsible for shaping strategy and execution across high-impact product initiatives.
You will own a product roadmap focused on measurable outcomes such as cost efficiency, service quality, clinical quality, member experience, and retention.
The role operates at the intersection of product, healthcare, operations, data, engineering, and compliance.
You will turn complex insights and stakeholder input into clear priorities, actionable plans, and scalable solutions.
The environment is fast-paced and startup-oriented, requiring comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
The role also offers opportunities to work with AI-enabled products, consumer experiences, and practitioner-facing technology.
Your work will directly influence how digital products support members, clinicians, operational teams, and broader business objectives.

Accountabilities

• Develop and own the product strategy and roadmap for assigned product areas, prioritizing initiatives that deliver measurable operational and business outcomes.

• Drive product initiatives designed to improve cost efficiency, clinical quality, member experience, retention, service quality, and team productivity.

• Partner closely with Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations, Clinical, Compliance, and other cross-functional teams to define requirements, establish priorities, and deliver solutions.

• Translate complex product, operational, and analytical insights into clear recommendations, decisions, and execution plans for senior stakeholders.

• Communicate product progress, performance, risks, and outcomes regularly to leadership and broader stakeholder groups.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for the assigned product domain and digital service delivery, providing strategic guidance to senior leaders.

• Incorporate customer, clinical, operational, and business feedback into product decisions and continuously refine the roadmap.

• Use data and performance metrics to evaluate product effectiveness, identify opportunities, and guide optimization.

• Navigate compliance, privacy, clinical, and operational considerations while maintaining momentum in product delivery.

• Contribute to AI-enabled product experiences, including solutions involving LLMs, assistance, summarization, automation, and human-AI workflows where relevant.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software product management experience with a demonstrated record of launching products, workflows, or solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

• Ideally, 4+ years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, care delivery, or a closely related environment.

• Strong experience developing product strategies and roadmaps based on quantitative and qualitative insights.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Data, Operations, Clinical, Compliance, and other functions.

• Exceptional communication and synthesis skills, with the ability to gather diverse perspectives, turn them into an actionable plan, and communicate decisions clearly.

• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

• Highly proactive approach with strong ownership, execution, and problem-solving skills.

• Comfort working in fast-changing, ambiguous, and startup-oriented environments.

• Experience working within healthcare compliance and privacy constraints is valuable.

• Experience shipping LLM-backed chat, assistance, summarization, or other AI-enabled products in production is preferred.

• Experience with consumer applications or web products where adoption, engagement, and retention are key measures is advantageous.

• Experience building practitioner-facing software used extensively in professional workflows is beneficial.

• Familiarity with clinical workflows, EHR systems, care management platforms, documentation requirements, and regulated product environments is a plus.

• Base salary range of $182,000–$217,000 per year.
